Pragya hailed cow urine, but opted for ‘surgical treatment’
ReplyDeleteA surgeon from Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow has stated that Pragya Singh Thakur had undergone a bilateral mastectomy (removal of both breasts) to prevent recurrence of cancer. Cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon S.S. Rajput, who has operated on Ms. Thakur thrice, said she was diagnosed with Stage I cancer which was of aggressive nature.
The BJP candidate from Bhopal has shocked the medical fraternity with her claim that she cured her breast cancer with gau mutra (cow urine).
Speaking to The Hindu on Thursday, Dr. Rajput confirmed that Ms. Thakur very much took the surgical treatment for cancer. Dr. Rajput refused to divulge information about whether Ms. Thakur underwent chemotherapy and radiation after that. He said Ms. Thakur came to him for a follow-up early this year and all her test reports were clear.
